1.Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly, including your full name, email address, and phone (WhatsApp) number when you create an account.

For each booking, we collect a national ID number to verify the traveler's identity and obtain the security permits some trips require.

We also collect your trip preferences, your search history on the platform, and the messages you exchange with agencies, along with limited technical data generated when you use the service.

2.Payment Data

KemeTrip does NOT collect or store your payment card data. All payments are processed directly by our payment gateway, Paymob, which handles your card details in accordance with its own security standards. Card information never passes through or is retained by KemeTrip.

3.How We Use Your Information

We use your information to create and manage your account, process bookings, communicate with you and the relevant agency, personalize your experience, and keep the platform secure.

4.Third-Party Service Providers

We rely on trusted providers to operate the platform, each processing data only as needed to deliver its service: Supabase (data hosting, authentication, and database), Paymob (payment processing), Resend (transactional email), Google Gemini (the AI travel assistant — no payment data is ever sent to it), and Upstash (rate limiting).

5.Sharing Your Data With Agencies

We share your booking details with a travel agency only for a trip you actually book with that agency, and only to the extent needed to deliver that trip. We do not sell your personal data.

6.National ID & Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

National ID numbers are kept for the retention period of the associated booking record, for identity verification and accounting purposes. You may request deletion of your national ID data by contacting us.

7.Cookies

KemeTrip uses only essential cookies to keep you signed in and secure your session. We do not use third-party analytics or advertising trackers at this time. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

8.Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data, including closing your account. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below.

9.Legal Basis

We handle personal data in line with the Egyptian Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 151 of 2020) and other applicable regulations.
