KemeTrip

Frequently Asked Questions

How KemeTrip works for schools, universities, travel agencies and parents.

KemeTrip is a platform that connects schools and universities with travel agencies. The school describes the trip it wants, agencies send their offers, and the school chooses one. The trip itself is run and invoiced by the agency; KemeTrip provides the system.

Schools, universities, colleges, institutes, companies and clubs apply as an institution, and we review every application by hand. If you are organising a trip for a group of friends or family, or on your own, you can apply too — we will contact you and get you offers from travel agencies.

Schools and universities pay KemeTrip nothing — no subscription, no listing fee and no commission. Guardians do not pay KemeTrip anything either. KemeTrip is paid by the agency, as a commission out of the trip price, and no separate KemeTrip charge is added to what a school or a guardian pays.

Every agency is reviewed by hand before it can send any offer, and an agency applying today must give its tourism licence number. Each agency sees only its own offers — never what other agencies quoted.

Once you publish your request, agencies on KemeTrip can see it and send their offers. You see the offers side by side — the price per student and what is included — and choose one. Choosing an offer creates your trip.

The school adds each student and gets a personal link for that student's guardian. The school sends it by WhatsApp, and if it entered the guardian's email we email the link as well. The guardian opens it on their phone, sees the trip details and the amount, and approves or declines — no account needed. To change a decision, the guardian contacts the school.

At a university, college or institute, each student gets their own link and confirms their own place, the same way a guardian does for a school trip.

Not yet. Paying online through KemeTrip is not available yet. For now, guardians pay the school directly, as they usually do.

When a guardian pays the school, a staff member records the amount against that student — in instalments if needed. The guardian sees each payment on their link, with what has been paid and what remains. A record is never deleted: if there is a mistake, an administrator of the school's account reverses it, and the reversal stays visible.

No. KemeTrip never receives, holds or pays out trip money. It passes directly between guardians, the school and the agency. If a refund is due, it follows the agency's cancellation terms and is returned by whoever received the money.

The school enters each student's details to organise the trip. Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and who can see it.
